ok
i can officially proclaim that
TAG 3 and 4
rocked the house down.
i mean liked,
most of us had our heads high,
and our hearts beaming with joy and pride,
and i really felt the class sprit today.

and we took pictures!
so i'm going to ask ms g for them,
hopefully post them on my blog.

however,
abt the BE YOURSELF DAY PRIZE,
i think we should have won.
bcos they spent money buying their class tee,
but we used daily life materials,
and just bcos they were p6,
and it's their last year,
dosen't mean that they should get the prize wat?!
(not trying  to be a sour grape)

ok.
forget it.
and um... ...
tommorow is children's day.
wat should i do?
i have no idea.

my mother just set parental controls 4 me.
only 2 hours a day on com ( to do hw and play)
NO MSN, (wtfh)
but can blog.
so i'll be using this as my IM.

and they tried to find wat i was doing in IM and games,
then they(mum, sis) checked,
but cannot find,
bcos MSN no parental controls,
and i quickly deleted the private data thing.
so they like dun even know wat's going on.

and their nearly blocked blogger,
then i was like
: "if you're going to ban both blogger and MSN,
i'm going to jump off this building now."
and i charmed them with my blog.
and i asked them to read lor.
then they say i so clever,
know how to deal with the codes without anyone teaching me.
then they didn't block blogger lor.
heng ah.

ok.
you got any message,
just post in the TAG board,
and come back the next day.
I WILL REPLY.
(if i dun, you can start flooding my phone)

i still love you guys,
dun think that i'm ignoring you on MSN.
ok??
and if you see my online,

you know,
as each day is inching towards SA2,
i suddenly hate going to school.

becos i wanna pass my exams, and
there are some boys in my class who just WILL NOT
allow me to do so.

i mean like,
why can't they just sit still,
and keep quiet,
just like nat or BJ.
what's so special abt them,
that they have to move all the time,
they DO NOT have ADHD right? (adhd is hyperactive disorder)

worse still,
our class ALWAYS has to be interrupted becos of them.
i finally understand why our EMS teachers are so pissed.
and how they are so patient.
wow.

please,
i want and must pass my SA2.
and i'm not going to suceed if they carry on like this.
neither are the girls (except min yi) are going to.

LET'S admit it. Many of us are attitudinally disabled.

That's why we think the Beijing Summer Games is the real deal. And the Paralympics is a joke.

But if the Olympics is all about a fighting and sporting spirit, then it's the Paralympics that comes first.

Here are incredible athletes who fight against all the odds.

Missing or malformed limbs. No sight. It doesn't get any more challenging than this.

That is why it was so heartwarming to see and hear 91,000 people roar at the Bird's Nest on Saturday night to the fireworks above.

One burst after another, counting down the final 10 seconds to 8pm and announcing the opening of the 13th Paralympic Games in Beijing.

The spirit symbolised by the Olympic flame burned on from the 2008 Olympic Games that ended a fortnight ago.

There was no mistaking the stars of show - the disabled contingents making their entrance early in the opening ceremony.

In all, there are 4,168 disabled athletes - a record number - from 147 participating countries and regions. Over the coming days, they will compete in 472 events from 20 sports.

Singapore's contingent included nine officials and three athletes led by flag-bearer Theresa Goh, who is favoured to land at least a swimming medal.

Handpicked

Compared to the opening of the able-bodied version of the Games, organisers touched the crowd in a different way in Saturday night's event.

It involved performances by many dancers and singers handpicked from China's 83 million disabled people.

In one item, 320 deaf dancers - directed by trainers using sign language - would have put many able-bodied people to shame with their near-flawless routine.

Blind pianist Jin Yuanhui also provided a spellbinding moment, tinkling the ivory to an admiring crowd as his mother looked on lovingly from a bench near him.

The highlight of the night was when a Chinese Paralympian hauled himself - and his wheelchair - up the entire height of the stadium to light the Paralympic torch.

Yes, in an arena where Jamaican sprint sensation Usain Bolt stormed to three gold medals, most of the stars now present would have trouble walking even in a straight line.

But their spirits shoot straight like a silver arrow. And in my book, that's what counts.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i think the writer wrote this really well.
and has a gd point too.
btw,
for hot seats:
success!
lolz.
I CAN"T BELIEVE IT WE DID NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKES!!
omg omg.
I SCREWED UP EVERYTHING.
but my group was quite cool about it.
lolz.
it's over.
i just have to do well in my SA now.
look at this article:
Don't poo poo this restaurant
September 08, 2008
HONEY, let's celebrate by going to the toilet. That won't get you a slap in the face in Taiwan.
FLUSHED WITH EXCITEMENT: All 100 seats in the Modern Toilet diner are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. PICTURES: REUTERS
Modern Toilet is actually a restaurant in Taipei. It is part of an island-wide chain of 12 eateries with a toilet theme.
All 100 seats in the diner are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. Sink faucets and gender-coded WC signs appear throughout the three-storey facility.
Customers eat soups, meat dishes and faecal-looking ice cream from mini plastic toilet bowls and drink out of small urinals. They wipe their hands and mouths using toilet rolls hung above their tables, which may be glass-topped jumbo bathtubs.
'Most customers will bring their cameras in because the place is quite special,' said Mr Yang Chung-chi, a manager at the restaurant in north Taipei told Reuters.
Owner Wang Tzi-wei opened his first Modern Toilet in 2004 after being inspired by a Japanese cartoon featuring restroom images and the toilet themes running through the food and drinks menus.
Modern Toilet draws on people ages 15 to 35, especially students from the three universities near MrYang's restaurant because they're 'easily excited', he said. He said older people just wouldn't get it.
'It's really unusual, so special that it doesn't gross me out,' said Betty Tsai, 16, a Taipei high school student trying Modern Toilet for the first time on a friend's recommendation.
But for a few customers, the toilet humour is too much. 'My son thought it was disgusting and didn't know if he could finish his food,' said Ms Lin Li-ju.
A waiter serving a set meal, which includes faecal-looking ice cream with mini plastic toilet bowls.
Managers say the restaurant's popularity shows that Taipei customers, who have a choice of theme-eateries that resemble jailhouses and hospitals, appreciate creative dining.
'In the evenings, we easily fill up,' Mr Yang said. 'Our headquarters is still looking at expansion.'
Bizarre restaurants are not just common in Taiwan. In Japan, there's a restaurant with a vampire theme and a chain of restaurants fashioned to resemble Catholic churches, says Gadling.com.
In Beijing you can dine in total darkness in the Stygian-themed Pitch Black (waitresses wear night goggles) and in Manila, there is Hobbit House, where the staff are all little people.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Hospital' restaurant's early death
SINGAPORE'S own bizarre restaurant, Aurum, closed in May after lasting barely two years.
The hospital-themed fine-dining restaurant came with surgical tables, golden wheelchairs for seating and staff in hospital garb.
Aurum's interior was designed by Concrete, a Dutch architectural firm responsible for the famous SupperClub in Holland.
A nearby bar served cocktails in drip bags and housepours from test tubes while bartenders wore surgical scrubs.
then after that he talk about another piece,
then the baton (a stick that he uses to conduct)
then we laugh and laugh.
OMG.
going to post my mr.midnight story.
hee!
It was an absolutely normal day at school. I had my lessons, recess and played with my classmates. Everything was fine, if not perfect. Little did I know that an incident, which still haunts me today, would happen.
During lunch, my three friends, John, Mary, Sandra and I saw a small little boy, crying at the foot of the staircase. We went to him and asked him, “Why are you crying? Have you lost anything?”
He looked back at us with his tear- stained face and said, “I lost my soft toy.” He went on to describe how his soft toy looked.
To our surprise, he could speak in complete sentences, and had a good range of vocabulary. We sacrificed our lunch just to help him find his soft toy. Suddenly, he said, “I think I know where it is!” We followed him to a remote corner of the school.
“Gasp!” The little boy had actually turned into a full grown wizard, complete long robes and a tall hat. He said with a chuckle, “Well, well, what I need for my experiment are four young, impressionable children. And I seem to have them right here. But do not fear my friends, my little experiments only involves placing you into hot water or frying you.”
Then, we were forced to step into a portal. We were all trembling with fear. A cold shiver went down my spine and my throat was as dry as a desert. Right after I came out, I was knocked out by a strong smell emitting from a bottle that was held in his hands.
I then found myself in a filthy, dark and dirty dungeon. It did not help that there were mice and spiders all over the place either. I could do nothing with the four heavy chains over my four limbs.
Just at this moment, the wizard stepped in, and with an evil laugh, he pressed a button on the remote control he was using and the chains dropped off.
“You have the honour of being my first subject.” However, when he was setting up his experiment on me, he remembered another experiment. “Oh no! I have another experiment on rats! You there, you had better not move even a single finger, because if I find out, the consequences will be dire.”
The moment he stepped out of the room, I quickly devised an escape route. As there were no windows or trapdoors, I could only think of one classic escape plan: To run!
I ran out of the door, into the long corridor of the wizard’s castle. The door was only a few meters away from where I was standing.
When I was out of the castle, I saw a portal, the same one in which I had stepped out from. I ran into it, and a few seconds later, I was back in school.
It was already six o’clock in the evening. Suddenly, I thought of my friends in the dungeon. I felt guilty as I could not save them. But again, one escaping was better than none.
The next day, in school, during assembly, the principal Mrs. Tan went up to the stage and said solemnly, “Three of our pupils, John, Mary and Sandra from Primary 5, have been found dead in the school canteen. The police are still trying to find out the cause of death.”
Right after I heard that, I blacked out from shock.
that teachers think the we
children all so so
free.
and that we can do a lot of hw for them.
congrats teachers!
you got it
wrong.
no really,
i'm planning to tell ms g and mdm sha
that i can't finish their hw.
i am really really tired of this.
i am really really GOING TO COLLASPE.
actually,
i'm really at the edge of the cliff.
i just need one more thing
to push me down.
and well,
you're going to see me in the hospital.
(touch wood touch wood)
lolz.
ok.
you might ask about me cwc.
i think it totally roks.
i mean like,
it's much better than sitting in the classrooms,
doing weird compositions.
one thing i liked about the cwc
is that they let you write about
absoulutely anything.
so i wrote a 'mr. midnight' kind story.
i know it's lame.
but i found it enjoyable to write.
and we did nonsense poems which were totally senseless,
but nice to recite.
lolz.
i'm sad it's over.
but my writing isn't.
will be posting my mr.midnight story here soon.
watch out ppl!
