Hi everyone,

If you remember in some of my previous posts, if you notice, the museum trip is TOMORROW! I am just so excited and don't know what to expect. From what I heard some of the statues are nude because people those days wouldn't have clothes. Typical!

I don't understand why some of my classmates go "Ewwwwwwww!" when they see these pictures. They have to understand that people those days probably won't have clothes. I think it depends on how you think about it. Some people don't like it because they think it is every disgusting while others think it is just like that.

AHHHHHH! I really don't know what to write! Give me some ideas, will you?

Hi,

Well, I'm going to Malaysia for a few days so I won't be posting for quite a few days. The Chinese new year festivities here are bustling and there are so many things to do, such as clean up the house, entertain guest who come over and most importantly, go to your relatives house to ' bai nian' or visit them.

Usually, on the first day of Chinese new year, the first thing you must do is to give tea to your parents as a sign of respect. After that, you must wear your brand new clothes and go to your relatives house to visit them. When you visit them, you cannot wear black or say anything which is not auspicious. Usually, you will also say a few greetings, such as " gong xi fa cai" or "wan shi ru yi". The host, if married, will give ang pows( red packets which contain a small sum of money in them).

Hi,

It's near the festive season and I'm excited as I'll be having my reunion dinner tomorrow. My relatives are also coming over to eat with my family.

However, just a word of advice to friends celebrating the new year, don't eat to many goodies or you, well will be down with a cold and that's why the clinic is usually full at this time of the year.

I've got another joke to share with you. Today, our English teacher requested us to give her our co- operation and give her a good new year. Right after we agreed, my friend raised up his hand and said" Um... ... I'm sorry but I forgot to bring the consent form." and all of us just laughed.

Anyway, to all my Chinese friends:

HAVE A PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Hi,

For those of you who think that there is really a volcano near my house that is exploding,

THINK AGAIN!

The 'volcano' is my English teacher and 'exploding' simply means that my teacher well, it REALLY ANGRY. And if she is angry, she'll most probably give us homework for the Chinese new year and we DON"T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!

So we are all trying to be little angels and turn to devils after the festival.

Well, there are many things going on, but I'm looking forward to 11 Feb and 15 Feb.

11 Feb - Wear you new year clothes to school. Class party and performance included.
15 Feb - Go to the museum to look at Greek masterpieces.

Hi,

I just came across this really nice game called "Fate". It is an RPG game, which means choices in the game are completely up to yourself. Like most RPG game, there are quest to do and monsters to battle. However, this game is unique because each time you play a game there is a different monster to beat. For example, the main monster you battle in your first game is a dragon, but in the second game it could be something else so you won't be bored playing it over and over again.

I've done my Commonwealth essay and I came up with this really not logical plot. I actually combined Greek mythology and my question together. For those of you who are interested on what question I am doing, it is question 2: If you were given three magical powers, what would they be and how would you use them?

I think I mentioned in one of my post that we are going to the museum. Yep, we are, and it's confirmed. It's on the 15 of February and those Greek masterpieces are from somewhere called the Louvre. My teacher says that the Louvre is a museum in Paris where it has all of the original famous art pieces like Mona Lisa. Isn't it exciting?

Hi,

Guess what? I have to do ballet for 2 and a half hours today. It's a bit crazy but it's quite fun anyway.

You know, I did some weird poem for my English teacher who asked us to do it over the weekend. Something about Athena, the goddess of war. Really, tiring.
